In 2019, we had our second retreat focusing on discussions of antibiotic resistance and metabolic networks involving hikes in the Arbel Mountain and the Magrase Nature Reserve in Northern Israel. The retreat included scientific talks interspersed with hikes.
We invited Prof. Daniel Segre from Boston University who like us, likes science and hiking, and gave an inspiring scientific presentation on microbial metabolism and communities.
